Jimmy Jones, is a dynamic, well-respected, business and civic leader. He is also a globally experienced human resources evecutive and administrative officer. Throughout his career, Jimmy has been a leader in the design and management of contemporary human resources/employee-relations strategies. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and the Chief Human Resources & Administrative Officer for Reebok International, Ltd.
At Reebok, his well-known ability to create a winning and best practices culture was clearly evident in the bottom line improvement in employee development/productivity and employee benefit and healthcare delivery. Jimmy's depth of business experience and knowledge also positioned him to be influential on matters of corporate governance.
Prior to joining Reebok, Jimmy held positions of Vice President and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at major healthcare and academic institutions, including: Catholic Health Initiatives (formerly Franciscan Health System), Inova Health System and Johns Hopkins University. Before his public sector and university senior management experiences, Jimmy held the position of Vice President-Employee Relations at the international media giant: Gannett Company, Inc. Prior to joining Gannett, Jimmy served as Manager of Employment and Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources for Jersey Central Power & Light Company (General Public Utilities (GPU)) and Assistant Director of Personnel for the New York Jets professional football club.
Jimmy Jones earned his B.S. degree in education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and his M.A. degree in management from Central Michigan University.
